We help students to discover the importance of having the right mindset, before equipping them with the necessary skills to excel such as their intrinsic motivators and goal setting.

Acorn believes Design Thinking is more than just a catalyst for creativity. It provides a support framework that instills exemplary habits such as effective questioning, and encourages independent learning and practicality through activity-centric methods; a holistic problem solving tool that empowers students to take their ideas off the paper and into the real world.

Professional training for teachers

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” These words from Mahatma Gandhi holds true not only for students but also for teachers. At Acorn, we have partnered with schools and Academy of Singapore Teachers to train teachers in their professional development. Understanding how teachers are under time pressure, we design our workshops to be short, effective and engaging. We cover a variety of skills such as Design Thinking, Student Leadership Development, Growth Mindset Strategies and Facilitation Skills to complement their teaching skillset.
